At our hotel the Gutjahr family personally looks after your wishes and concerns. They are always available and – together with the entire Gutjahr team – make every effort to render each guest's stay as pleasurable as possible.

While Mr. Markus Gutjahr entertains the guests and works in the office, his wife Barbara - the kitchen chef - their son Markus Gutjahr jr. and the whole kitchen team is create unforgettable culinary treats from local and international products.

Their daughter Cornelia Gutjahr is responsible for the Wellness & Beauty department.

And of course Sepp Gutjahr sr. is not to be forgotten.
In 1969 the once farmer built a small pension with 16 beds in the village centre. This was the foundation for the Gutjahr hotel. In the following years there were several alterations and extensions done.

In 1989 Markus Gutjahr took over the hotel from his father. He and his wife accepted this big challenge with great verve and pleasure.

Again there were new extensions added – a conservatory, in 2001 a new building was constructed, elevators were added, a beautiful wellness area and many more. The last big remodeling and expansion was in 2006 – many room were added, a big hall for leisure activities and a lovely adventure indoor pool.

And Sepp Gutjahr sr. still helps where he can. The guests love him as tour and hiking guide.
